  • Abstract
    Wireless location algorithm based on TOA/TDOA has been researched and compared, and precise ranging technology based on TOA has been analyzed in this paper. In view of the existing location algorithm is always in 2-dimension form, Chan algorithm has been concluded in 3-dimension form and a 3-dimension location method based on TOA is proposed. The method transforms the nonlinear location equation into linear form by using initialization estimation coming from two-step weighed least square, then calculates the location estimation. The method is simple and precise. The simulation about it is given to show its theoretic value.
