Abstract :
The concept of median value based on confidence level for fuzzy numbers is proposed, and itpsilas discussed with triangular fuzzy numbers. Compared with the concept defined before, the median value based on confidence level could improve the membership level manifestly, and enhance the credibility of median to replacing fuzzy number visibly. The effectiveness and usefulness of median value based on confidence level are shown with an example of significance analysis of fault tree. All of these will help to develop useful techniques to process synthesizedly fuzzy information.
