Abstract :
In this paper a method of electromagnetic analysis of Luneburg lenses is presented. The method combines three techniques, namely volume-integral equation/method-of-moments (VIE/MoM), the domain decomposition method (DDM) based on the surface equivalence principle, and the body-of-revolution (BoR) scheme. It is shown that application of DDM allows the user to pre-compute, or partially solve the computationally expansive sub-problem, involving volume formulation, and then put it into an external configuration of excitations, where only a relatively small linear set resulting from surface formulation has to be solved.
