Abstract :
This paper reports on a new design method developed for realization of optical-microwave filter structures for laser noise suppression applications. In addition phase-to-intensity noise conversion characteristics is calculated in order to exactly determine its limiting effect regarding noise reduction. Based on these calculations a new design way is presented for minimizing noise conversion and thus ensuring the proper operation of the noise suppression.
