Abstract :
The problem of estimating the position of a radiating source from angle of arrival (bearing) and time difference of arrival measurements taken from passive system in two dimensional case is discussed. The very simple localization algorithm is presented and investigated. Geometric interpretation of algorithm is shown. The problem for stationary both transmitter and receivers is considered.
