Abstract
The paper analyzes results of numerical simulations of the electromagnetic field distribution in the near region of the dipole arrays used in base stations of mobile communication systems (the model of the antenna GSM900). The computation method is based on formulas for the near-field radiation of elementary dipole arrays. In order to verify results, computed near field and far field are compared to the results produced by Zeland IE3D.
