Abstract :
The effect of finite ground plane on the beam-forming of axial-symmetrical antennas as the different designs of cylindrical monopole antenna with coaxial feeding line is studied. The features of near-field distribution in the inductive region of this class of antennas are analyzed. Depending on the geometric and physical parameters of antenna the conditions of radiation pattern transformation from mono-beam to multibeam one are determined.
