Abstract :
The damper has do a more and more important role to keep running safety and comfort ride index of the railway vehicles with the speed improve. In the general dynamic analysis, the damper is considered only the damp function, other factors such as connected stiffness of the end and the damping speed character was ignored in many cases. A damper model which including the damp function, the connected stiffness of the end and the damping speed character was set up in this paper, based on the vertical simple model of the railway vehicle, the influence of primary vertical damper and secondary vertical damper to the car body frequency response and vertical ride index was researched through the linear analysis. Except to the damp function of the damper, the connected stiffness of the end and the damping speed character should also be considered in the parameter choice and the correlated analysis of the damper.
