Abstract :
In order to improve the performance of genetic algorithm solving distribution network (DN) reconfiguration, a genetic algorithm based on gene therapy (GTGA) is applied in this problem. A new topology structure description method is proposed. The methods of creating and updating gene pool are given, and the therapy operator, which consists of removing and insertion operation, is designed. The feasibility and efficiency of proposed approach are demonstrated by simulation tests using IEEE sample systems.
