Abstract
An adaptive channel estimate algorithm based on least-mean-square error is proposed in IEEE 802.11b WLAN system. It converges rapidly through the training of 20 to 30 chips and can estimate the system channel impulse response precisely. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has good performance and low complexity. It is a simple and useful algorithm and can be easily implemented through hardware.
