Abstract
Increasing salary costs, management efficiency concern, and economic globalization provide a strong incentive for enterprise´s information system construction. This paper describes the construction of the auxiliary material order and warehousing management information system in the case of the overall information development at the X cigarette factory, for the purpose of achieving sharing of information resources with other information systems and developing it into a highly-efficient supply chain-based management subsystem. The research shows that Chinese enterprises tend to develop the information system gradually and by outsourcing partly in view of IS application facilities, process stability and the quality of staff.
