Abstract :
In this paper, a reconfigurable manufacturing execution system (RMES) based on events is researched. The system can acquire real-time information from control system. The basic infrastructure of the RMES is proposed. The key idea of the RMES is to define several meta-events according to the characteristics of production process. Many events are composed of several meta-events. All function modules can integrate together through events. Because of events, reconfigurability of the system can be achieved.
