The Evaluation Study of Coordinated Development of Regional Society and Economy Based on DEA/SCA Method

This paper refers that the phenomenon of getting rid of some important DEA evaluation indicators often occurs when data envelopment analysis(DEA) method is applied in the evaluation problems of regional economy, and points out a DEASCA method of combining DEA with static comparative analysis (SCA). Taking Shaanxi province for an example, it establishes the evaluation indicators system of the coordinated development level of regional society and economy, evaluates the development status, and points out the critical factors which constrain the coordinated development of economy and society in Shaanxi province.
