Abstract :
This study combines culture theory and knowledge-based perspectives to develop a general model of promoting technology innovation. We analyze the model using a structural equation model approach, and 208 firms in China are selected as the samples of this study. The results conclude that: (1) The higher the level of trust, the higher the level of innovation culture; (2) Trust is a function of its knowledge energy; (3) Trust has no significantly impact on technology innovation; (4) innovation culture is a function of its knowledge energy; (5) innovation culture will significantly impact on technology innovation; (6) knowledge energy will significantly impact on technology innovation. Since very limited empirical studies have concentrated on above issues in China, the results of this study can offer important direction to theories and practices in the developing of technology innovation.
