Abstract
A fast converging stochastic gradient based per tone equalizer (PTEQ), the self-orthogonalizing per tone equalizer, is presented and its convergence is analyzed. The presented SO-PTEQ gives bandwidth efficiency for wideband orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). It has low computational complexity and fast convergence rate, which are apt to high-speed wireless body area network communications.
