Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a low-complexity receiver for UWB systems in multi-path channel. The proposed receiver eliminates pulse generator and correlation block of the conventional method. Instead, the receiver constructs reference waveform of the correlation receiver by averaging and delaying the training signal. The proposed receiver shows reduced complexity compared to that of the conventional ML receiver. The simulation results support that the proposed receiver promises reasonable error performances so that can be applied to practical systems.
