  • Abstract
CODP (customer order decoupling point) is the boundary between make-to-stock (MTS) and make-to-order (MTO), and can determine the effectiveness of MC (Mass customization). This text build up a model for the CODP position base on profit, in this model, we establish the relationship between the position of CODP and the sales, then use M/M/N system of tandem queues to predigest the model. After that, give the solving method. In the end, from the numerical analysis, we validate the model, and give three deductions. From this, we can make the companies understand the CODP better, and make the reasonable position of CODP, so the low cost, customization, quick response can be implement at the same time.
