Abstract
Under analyzing the causes and impacts of U.S. subprime lending crisis, the article pointed that it brings some inspirations for strengthening credit risk management of Chinese banking industry. Especially, the article explores the impact of credit risk measurement and ways to address the challenges going forward. On this foundation, taking a look into the very basics of credit risk management process, we can identify the key priority areas and challenges in the credit risk arena and how a solution can be designed to tackle this.
