Abstract :
The global economy and technological innovations bring many new issues and twists to aircraft manufacturing industry. Recently released study and industry practice has identified PLM technology as one of the most important significant technologies. Manufacturing process data is the most important fundamental data in aircraft manufacturing. This paper introduces manufacturing process data management system oriented 2D-PLM by studying its critical problem in support of the PLM for aircraft manufacturing enterprise. Based on the development of a 2D-CAPP system oriented 2D-PLM in aircraft manufacturing enterprise, the practical need in aircraft manufacturing industry is analyzed, concept of aircraft manufacturing process data management system (AMPMS) oriented 2D-PLM is proposed based on 2D-CAPP system. Key technologies of MBOM, AO, CAPP/ERP integration, FO are presented in detail.. AMPMS has been put into industry practice in several aircraft manufacturing enterprises. Application effect shows AMPMS is an effective approach to improve efficiency in aircraft manufacturing process.
