Abstract :
In order to ensure normal operation of the blast furnace (BF) closed loop soft water cooling system, cooling water temperature and the heat load must be controlled. It is the most important how the hundreds of large-scale blast furnace soft water temperature points for real-time detection. The DS18B20 digital thermometer was used as a temperature sensor. The DS18B20 communicates over a 1-Wire bus that by definition requires only one data line for communication, in addition to solving the problem of wiring the scene, after the temperature sensor calibration, also Spot temperature measurement accuracy requirements can be achieved. Signal acquisition, data processing and real-time communications problems were resolved by the digital temperature converters used two MCU shared memory. Soft water temperature can be collected by digital temperature converters, and transferred to the control system through the Ethernet. This soft water temperature measurement system has been used in two 3600 M3 blast furnace cooling system.
