Abstract :
This paper studies the two aspects that affect the prediction accuracy of GM(1,1) model: the smoothness of initial sequence and the background value of grey equation. An optimum method is proposed that adopts trigonometric function to enhance the smoothness and utilize trapezium method, interpolation formula to construct the background value, an example about life prediction of electronic equipment is given to validate effectiveness of the optimum model, the prediction value is compared with a reference paper. Test shows that, this optimum model improves the prediction accuracy effectively and provides great reference value for later use.
