Abstract :
The interconnection of HLA multiple federations is essential for the large scale simulation, especially for the simulation on wide area network. To solve the problem of federates adapting connection when constituting complicated simulation system, a multi-federation interconnect method of Dynamic Adapting Bridge Federate was put forward in this paper, which has dynamically changed the interconnection path of training federations according to the operation demands and scenarios. The principle idea and realizing method were discussed in detail. The previous SN-FOM data mapping algorithm (SFDMA) was improved to further reduce irrelevant data and enhance the mapping efficiency, and the new algorithm was named as Optimized Heterogeneous FOM Mapping Algorithm (OHFMA). By building simulation platform, the truth of Dynamic Adaptive Bridge Federate could strengthen the flexibility of Bridge Federate was verified. At the same time, the algorithm could save plenty of memory space and heighten the mapping efficiency.
