Abstract :
The IEEE 802.16 WiMAX standard provides a mechanism for creating multi-hop mesh, which can be deployed as a high speed wide-area wireless network. Similar with point to multipoint networks, load balance is a critical problem in Mesh networks. In this paper, we proposed a load-aware network entry scheme based on WiMax standard. Simulation results show that new accessing nodes can properly sense the load of Mesh networks and choose the lower one to access.
