Upgrading the User Experience of Digital Library

User experience is an important indicator of the service quality. The introduction of user experience to digital library will sublime the goal of digital library from "providing more services" to "providing better services". In this article, the changes of user environment in digital library and the role of the user experience are analyzed; the scheme to enhance the user experience of digital library is discussed from several aspects, such as polishing up the Web site design, enriching the library collection, improving the functionality of the retrieval system and so on.
