Abstract :
With the ever-increasing requirement of e-learning, more advanced technology should be introduced into it for higher quality service. This paper applies the technology of grid into e-learning, presents the architecture of the e-learning grid, the metadata, metadata hierarchical categorization architecture, and constructs e-learning ontology to allow the optimum management of e-learning repository, users, and grid.
