Abstract :
Computational integral imaging (CII) method based on volumetric computational reconstruction (VCR) can digitally provide depth-dependent plane images of 3D object for 3D object recognition. However, it has some problems including the resolution degradation of 3D reconstructed image and heavy computation cost as the reconstruction distance increases. In this paper, to overcome these problems, we propose CII method based on two-way VCR technique. We present the experimental results to verify the performance of our proposed method.
