Abstract
Paper describes current mobile-TV introduction into European market. Deals with the major problem of choosing a single protocol to be used in entire European market. By doing so not allowing bigger market fragmentation, allowing the final users to be able to use the service of mobile-TV universally with their mobile ldquodevicesrdquo (phones, PDAs, mobile tuners etc.) This paper describes advantages and disadvantages of todays two major ldquorunners uprdquo for this position in Europe. Also gives a conclusion which protocol would be best to use and in the end which would also eventually be used in Croatia when bringing this service to Croatian mobile users.
