Abstract :
A novel photoelectric measurement method for displacement and angle based on laser triangulation is proposed in this paper. The angle that the measured object turns is obtained by geometry transformation of the displacements measured from dual laser-triangulation devices. Thus the measurement of displacement and angle is achieved simultaneously. Moreover, the influence caused by environment disturbances and system noise on measurement results is largely reduced by mathematically processing by means of subdivision iteration algorithm. So the measurement precision is improved. The feasibility of this method is verified by an experiment.
