Abstract :
In order to win the intensive competition in the global market, those small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have to cooperate with each other and pool their core competencies to make up for their deficiencies. The Web-Based Enterprise Alliance (WBEA) is one of the ways to realize the efficient cooperation of SMEs. In the alliance, all allied enterprises must supply a gap. To make the alliance run efficiently, the main workflow of the Web-Based Enterprise Alliance System (WBEAS) is designed firstly. This workflow contains about twenty procedures which start from the submission of the task to accomplish financial balance settlement. The procedures will be accomplished respectively in the alliance and allied enterprises. And then the basic architecture of the WBEAS is designed based on the workflow. This architecture comprises the server of the alliance, the servers of allied enterprises and all kinds of terminal units such as computers, equipments for manufacture, RE, etc.. The function modules of the WBEAS are deployed on the related servers and terminal units. At last, some key technologies for the realization of the WBEAS are discussed on the base of the Visual studio .NET. These include the development of the collaborative tool embedded in the web page, the realization of the real-time communication, the transmission of the information on the task, etc.. By means of the rational designment of the workflow and the architecture for the WBEAS, and by means of the development of the WBEAS based on the powerful .NET, the WBEAS can run efficiently and reliably, it will greatly prompt the development of SMEs.
