Study on the modularization building and implementation of small and medium-sized enterprises’ virtual organization

The virtual organization for small and medium-sized enterprises is a manufacturing system that is made up of multi-enterprises, whose functions can supplement each other. Each enterprise can use its manufacturing resources to finish a part of functions of virtual organization. Through analyzing the characteristics of virtual organization for small and medium-sized enterprises, this paper proposes the modularization building strategy in virtual organization. It indicates that the virtual organization is a manufacturing system composed by modules of different functions. These expectant functions of virtual organization can be completed by the combination of these modules of different functions. In order to improve the module search and the building efficiency of virtual organization, this research brings forward quick modularization building strategy of virtual organization for small and medium-sized enterprises. The strategy can be realized through the information coding of the enterprise’s main information and resources and in the way of using codes to describe modules.
