Intelligent cutting equipment of gas pipe based on PC controlling

A new branch pipe has to be equipped when the pipe-line is delivering gas. Cutting process of intersected part with branch pipe in main pipe-line must be safety, quick and gas were not leaked. There are not yet ideal gas pipe-line online cutting machine at home and abroad. Intelligent cutting equipment based on PC controlling adopted high-pressure water efflux with abrasive as cutting method. After the sprayer’s movement trajectory detected by distance sensors is fitted, these data is delivered to monolithic integrated circuit and it controls the position of cutting nozzle automatically. The developed equipment can successfully cut standard and non-standard aperture formed by intersecting of different diameter pipe in different angle and non circular pipes in sealed pipe, and take off cut material automatically. The results of application show that intersecting part is cut off accurately and the properties of the equipment is at the advanced level.
