Abstract :
Enterprise modeling that regards the enterprise business process as a key control is a continuous improvement and application process. In view of the present situation that the enterprise modelling and the application implementation comes apart seriously, this paper emphatically focuses on how to translate the enterprise model into the corresponding workflow model. Firstly, the difference between the enterprise model and the workflow model is presented, then the workflow reference model and XML Process Definition Language (XPDL) provided by Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) are introduced briefly. Based on the above work, the mapping process from process view, function view, resource view, organization view, as well as data view to XPDL is analyzed in detail, and the realization method is put forward. The efforts this paper made will bridge the gap between the present enterprise modeling and the following application and implementation, which will impel the practical advancement of business model.
