Abstract :
For large vehicle manoeuvring-aid based on a Birdpsilas-Eye-View, the possibilities of a wireless UWB video transmission between vehicles and their trailers are investigated. Transmission channels for point-to-point transmission in such transmission scenarios are characterized with respect to changing geometrical conditions of the very reflective environment. Measurements and theoretical investigations lead to a specification of limits for the dynamic range and the data rate.
