Abstract :
With the advent of concept of trustworthy networks, discussions on its supporting technologies have become a new focus of research. This paper proposes a new trust mechanism for the routing systems of trustworthy networks. Presently, study of trust is mostly based on the trust of "hard" security. While behavior trust is classified into the category of "soft" security. This paper suggests a new trust system by integrating behavior trust and policy trust on the basis of group monitoring and management. The group behavior trust is the emphasis of this paper. The group policy trust is considered to be a complementary to the group behavior trust. The group trust mechanism proposed and discussed in this paper extends the concept of trust management. It is of more powerful authorization and trust capability. It can be used directly in routing and routing control, and applied in the trustworthy routing model.
