Abstract :
Real-time information of the whole road can be acquired by in-vehicle road condition acquisition technology, which used to ensure the freeway safety under adverse weather. The influencing factors and evaluation parameters of the road condition under the adverse weather were analyzed, and functions of the in-vehicle road information acquisition system were decided. On the basis of those, the road detection system was designed, which was composed of road visibility detecting subsystem, road temperature and humidity detecting subsystem, pavement condition recognition subsystem, pavement micro-topography detecting subsystem, road data location subsystem, and information wireless transmission subsystem. This system also included measuring vehicle and power supply. In this system, some key technologies were analyzed. Lastly, the future research work was looked forward.
