Abstract :
In their professional activities, engineers have to face problems which require multidisciplinary skills. Therefore, it is very important for students in engineering courses, to understand that the various topics they have studied, all together constitute a cultural background to pick up from in complex problem resolution. For this reason, developing the ability to correlate what they have learned in different disciplines is crucial. With this in mind, in this paper we present a software tool which aims to be an educational framework in the field of Network Based Control Systems (NBCS). Our software will help students to deal with NBCS at different level of difficulties, focusing on one or more of its involved problems. Doing this, they are stimulated to link their technical background knowledge, learnt on different subjects, to accomplish a set of given project objectives.
