Abstract :
This paper presents design of novel structure based on fractal geometry for minimum backscattering power using MOM method. The study reveals the optimum thickness of substrate for minimum backscattering power with respect to frequency is 9 mm with epsivr =2.2 for three iterative structure. It is clear that frequency of low RCS depends on thickness as well as geometry of structure. Low RCS has been observed for this optimum thickness at maximum number of incidence angle with wider bandwidth. The effect of substrate epsivr =2.2, 4.3, 6.15 with optimum thickness shifts the low RCS peak towards lower frequency side. It has been analytically observed that superstrate thickness shifts the peak of low RCS. This property can be used to tune the frequency for minimum backscattering power. It has also been observed that this fractal structure gives the low RCS at multiple frequencies.
