Abstract :
An approximate analytical solution for time-domain impulse response of low-contrast dielectric targets is derived. The Born approximation is used to calculate the scattered field. The detailed analysis is performed for a finite-length circular cylinder. The way of application of the obtained results to buried dielectric targets is proposed.
