Abstract :
The model equivalent circuit is identified. From motor manufacturers test report, parameters Ra, and Xm are calculated. The rotor parameters X12, X1, X2 ,R1, R2 and stator parameter Xa are determined by using direct search optimization method. The starting and running performance values are calculated and compared with available values. From estimated parameters, the transient and sub-transient reactance and time constants are calculated using Laplace operational inductance.
