Abstract :
This paper presents a new procedure for coupling element-free Galerkin method with finite element method (FEM-EFGM). The coupling model is based on overlapping domain decomposition method (DDM), which the domain is decomposed into FEM subdomain and EFGM subdomain, then obtaining the iterative solutions by some techniques. The solutions are more accurate and could eliminate influence of irregular interface shape.
