Abstract :
As requirement of a motor these days, both the demand of the reduction of high frequency iron losses by a high speed PWM control and the improving of the acoustic noise are severe especially. In that time, the subject is 500-1000 Hz in a fundamental frequency in iron loss and reduction of 10-15 dB is a target value. However it is not easy to realize this condition with the conventional Si steel plate. In this paper, as a result of performing the basic experiment and technological study of whether to be able to satisfy these conditions by using of a powder core that maintaining economical efficiency, it resulted in the conclusion that utilization is almost possible, by the motor of a 0.5-1 kW class.
