Abstract :
This paper models the three-phase boost-type rectifier as switched linear systems (SLS) in the d-q reference frame which includes six available subsystems, so the problems of PFC and DC-bus voltage regulation are transformed to stabilizing the SLS. And then a novel control rule based on min-projection strategy is proposed, which controls the switching sequence around the six subsystems such that the system is globally stabilized. In addition, in the proposed control strategy, the PI control of DC-bus voltage is introduced to enhance robustness and transient response. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the rectifier controlled by the proposed control rule has the performances of unity power factor, zero steady-state error of DC-bus voltage, well robustness, and good transient response on the DC-bus voltage tracking the voltage reference.
