Abstract :
Active power filter(APF) based on power electronic technology is currently considered as the most competitive equipment for mitigation of power harmonics.Usually, the configuration of APF is referred to one based on voltage source inverter due to easy implementation.Researches on APF mainly focus on two fields: topologies and control strategies. The topology of APF is decided in the harmonics current detection theory. It is proposed in this paper based on the instantaneous reactive power theory, ip -iq detecting method; Moreover, the control strategies of APF is decided in the harmonics current compensation theory. the improved schemes of the main current controlling method - the hysteresis control method is putted forward in the paper. The mathematics analysis and the simulation results examine the feasibility and validity of the two harmonics current detection and compensation method. The feasibility and superiority of the method is examined by dynamic simulation and the academic analysis.
