  • Abstract
    The opposite-rotation dual mechanical ports (ODMP) PMSM is a novel machine applied to special situation, its electrical-magnetic relationship is different from traditional PMSM, so research on analysis method and design theory is necessary, especially for influence of main parameters on machine performance. The structure and operation principle are discussed. Its mathematic model adopted by dual d-q axis is built, and simulation program compiled by MATLAB is finished. The main parameters influence on performance is obtained thought simulation results analysis, which provides design basis for this kind of machine. It is concluded that high efficiency and power factor can be realized with same load condition when same no-load back-EMFs induced by two rotors and their sum approaches source voltage.
