  • Abstract
    The parameters of permanent magnet synchronous motors consists of flux leakage coefficient, direct-axis synchronous reactance, quadrature-axis synchronous reactance and the ratio of two synchronous reactance. They all can influence the performance of permanent magnet synchronous motor such as pullout torque, pull in torque and starting torque. The calculated accuracy of the parameters above mentioned is a key problem for design of the PM motor. Mentioned above parameters of motor were calculated with three-dimensional finite element method in the paper, and the results are agreement with experimental of the prototypes.
