Abstract :
This paper describes novel claw-pole movers interior permanent magnets linear synchronous motor (CPIP-LSM). However the cogging of the CPIP-LSM was very large, it was almost 100% of maximum thrust in the initial model. Changing parameters of the CPIP-LSM partially at 1-phase-driven, and using 3-phase-driven the cogging was dramatically decreased. Finally it was confirmed with the high-thrust model, that the cogging of the CPIP-LSM is very small.
