Abstract :
This paper presents a practical approach dealing with anisotropic laminated core joints in engineering problems, especially in large-scale transformers. A fast approximate laminated core model is proposed through discussing the feasibility of the works in domestic and abroad. It is indicated that this model provides good results in three-level-step-lap joints for saturation condition over a suitable range.
