Abstract
IMT-advanced is expected to provide much higher cell spectrum efficiency than current cellular systems. In order to improve the uplink cell spectrum efficiency of cellular systems, a superimposed radio resource sharing (SRRS) method is proposed in this paper through fully exploiting near-far effect and channel differences of multiple user equipments (UE) in the cellular system. Simulations are performed and verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. Simulation results show that the uplink cell spectrum efficiency can be greatly improved compared with the existing scheme.
