Abstract
Networked game services are very popular in Korea, and game traffic has been increased rapidly around world. Recently, many game applications adapt peer-to-peer (P2P) models especially in UDP based applications. Traditional traffic classification methods are not suitable for these applications due to the limitations. In addition, it is a challenge without examination of payload content. In this paper, we introduce a traffic classification method using transport behaviors for UDP based game applications which use a P2P model. Although our method is quite simple and uses few features, its accuracy is quite remarkable.
