Abstract :
Ultra Wide Band (UWB) Radio has now become established as a leading candidate for next communication systems including 4G. In low rate UWB the evaluation of the average power spectral density and average autocorrelation signals are particularly important in spectrum shaping for the suppression of unwanted spectral lines that appear in the envelope due to unbalanced input data streams and modulation. In this paper the authors present a novel technique for UWB systems using convolutional encoders.
